The Democratic National Committee will hold a series of hearings on Tuesday to investigate President Donald Trump’s potential ties with Russia.
The committee will look at Trump’s ties to Russian President Vladimir Putin, his business dealings with Russia, and any ties that may have occurred during his presidency, including his conversations with Russian officials and his alleged meeting with Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov in December.
The first of the hearings will take place at 9 a.m.
EDT at the Capitol in Washington, D.C. The other hearings will be held at the White House, the Capitol and the White Houses of Representatives on Tuesday and Wednesday, according to a statement from the committee.
The hearing will be hosted by House Oversight Committee Ranking Member Elijah Cummings, the top Democrat on the committee, and will include testimony from two intelligence agencies, the National Security Agency and the FBI.
The Senate Intelligence Committee will host the third hearing on Wednesday.
