Seahawk safety Thomas Rawls has been the star of the Seattle Seahawks this season, but the veteran safety has been given a fair shake in the organization.

According to Mike Garafolo of ESPN.com, Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll said that Rawls is “getting a fair crack.”

“I think that’s an important distinction,” Carroll said.

“We’ll see what happens with that.”

Rawls, 26, is a former first-round pick of the Arizona Cardinals in 2013.

He was a member of the Seahawks’ Super Bowl winning team in 2017, but was released after just four games.

He also had two interceptions and four pass breakups in seven games for the Vikings in 2018.

He also played in the 2016 NFL Draft, going undrafted in 2018, but returned to the Vikings after the team was unable to reach an agreement with the player.

Rawls is a free agent after this season.
