McKinney & Co., the Texas-based company that designs and sells robots for humans, is hiring new employees.
The company said in a blog post on Wednesday that it will hire about 20 people for the new position of director of human resources and human resources technology.
McKinney has been looking for candidates since May.
The hiring announcement comes on the heels of an announcement from the National Association of Manufacturers that it was expanding its robotics workforce in the United States.
The announcement comes less than two months after the National Automotive Dealers Association and the National Federation of Independent Business announced their partnership to help support robotics-related companies in the U.S.
The alliance was announced after the NADA reported last week that it had raised more than $3.5 million for its robotics research program and has awarded more than a dozen companies $1 million in grants.
